In 2024, the Szombathelyi Darts Club SE is organizing the three-day darts event known as the Szombathely Darts Weekend for the 5th time. This year, the event takes place offering various self-organised competitions, in which we would like to provide the opportunity for certified players, amateurs and juniors alike to take part in the competition(s) suitable for them and to assess their skills in an organized, scheduled environment. The program of the three days consists of a doubles open, an U23 open, an individual open and an amateur competition.

Competitions, dates:
- Péter P. Doubles Open: 15th November 2024, from 6:00 pm
- Clear ’97 U23 Open: 16th November 2024, from 11:00 am
- Clear ’97 Steel Darts Open: 16th November 2024, from 5:00 pm
- Pannonsport Amateur Open: 17th November 2024, from 11:00 am

Conditions of participation
- In the Péter P. Doubles Open competition, license holders and amateurs alike can take part, regardless of age or gender, in any pair. When submitting the entry, the doubles assign their players number one and two for the entire competition with the order of the given names, which order must be maintained throughout the competition. (Player number 1 always throws first.)
- In the Clear ’97 U23 Open competition, license holders and amateurs born after 1/1/2001 can take part. If there is a sufficient number of female entries, we are ready to organize a separate competition for boys and girls, in other cases, girls can compete among the boys.
- The Clear ’97 Steel Darts Open competition is open to license holders and amateurs alike, regardless of age or gender.
- In the Pannonsport Amateur Open, players who have a certified competition license in 2024, cannot take part.
Pre-registration is mandatory for all competitions during the weekend. You can pre-registrate by sending an email to the email address of Szombathelyi Darts Club SE (info@szdcse.hu). You are allowed to enter more players in more competitions by sending only one email. When pre-registrate for the doubles competition, players are asked to mark player one and two. The pre-registration deadline for all competitions ends two hours before the start time.
You should arrive at the venue no later than half an hour before the start time, and register yourself.

We try to update the entry list regularly. Entrants will be added to the tables by next morning at the latest.
Entry fees:
- Péter P. Doubles Open: HUF 5000/doubles
- Clear ’97 U23 Open: HUF 2000/person
- Clear ’97 Steel Darts Open: HUF 3000/person
- Pannonsport Amateur Open: HUF 3000/person
The entry fee can only be paid in cash when registering for the competition. If you wish, you can transfer the entry fees in advance to the club’s bank account (Szombathelyi Darts Club SE – CIB Bank, 10700127-69026746-51100005)
Draw:
The draw of groups for each competition is carried out by the Organizer at the venue, before the start of the competition. It is forbidden to use a method or highlight that affects the randomness of the draw. The group numbers are drawn again in each competition before the straight elimination stage.
Game mode
The game mode for all competitions is 501 DO. The competition will be held in all 4 events with group matches followed by a straight elimination stage. The number of legs to be won will be determined depending on the number of entries. The player who is before, has the right to throw one dart to the Bullseye before his/her opponent. The player whose throw is closer to the Bullsseye, throws first in the odd number legs.
The Péter P. Doubles Open will be conducted with doubles matches throughout (all 4 players throw consecutively during all matches).
Prizes
The first 8 places in each event will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes as follows:
- Péter P. Páros Open:
1st place doubles: Fixed HUF 100,000
The 70% of the amount collected from the entry fees will be redistributed among the 2-8. place. - Clear ’97 U23 Open:
1st place: Fixed HUF 50,000
The 100% of the amount collected from the entry fees will be redistributed among the 2-8. place. - Clear ’97 Steel Darts Open:
1st place: Fixed HUF 100,000
The 70% of the amount collected from the entry fees will be redistributed among the 2-8. place. - Pannonsport Amateur Open:
1st place: Fixed HUF 100,000 + a dedicated Gerwyn Price darts set!
The 70% of the amount collected from the entry fees will be redistributed among the 2-8. place.
Cash prizes and certificates can only be received after the results of each competition have been announced.
General rules
Regarding the players, writers, the right to start, and other non-discussed issues, the rules learned at the other competitions are authoritative. Matches can only be played by keeping score (writing) next to the board, which is the responsibility of the designated players. If someone is uncertain about the calculation, they can lead the match on a smartphone or tablet, with the consent of the players.
